Apartment in Turin

The request of the client: make the rooms of the house more spacious and livable while preserving the pre-existence. The apartment, in fact, had recently been restored in all its rooms: living room, one space consisting of entrance hall, living room and kitchen; sleeping area can be found in wardrobe, bathroom and bedroom. Our work has focused on what the vaulted ceiling of the apartment concealed: a dusty attic house from all forgotten. Through the removal of the floor of the attic and the construction of a loft light in iron and wood, the roof was annexed to the apartment below and the living area has completely changed in appearance. The inclusion of fixed furniture has also made it possible to integrate both functionally and visually the existing apartment to the new volume.
