S.Luigi Hospital
The project is part of a broad program of reorganization to transform the Hospital Complex born as a convalescent home for the care of tuberculous disease, in General Hospital. They were therefore expected from scratch, or re-organized and strengthened, all the missing services, including resuscitation, locating them at strategic locations with respect to the radiology and operating rooms to minimize the paths and make efficient service. The intensive care unit that has been created, it is now one of the most innovative in Italy.
Particular attention has been given to the interventions, so as to make them compatible with sustainable development. It has been given preference in dry machining with environmentally friendly materials, recycled and recyclable. A significant reduction of energy consumption has been achieved with a strong insulation of walls and doors, and with the use of high efficiency light sources.
